After reading the reviews, I decided that I have a chance in this blu ray player, which would take the time offered at Walmart for $ 98.00. When I went back to the shop, they are actually at a later model of the clearance rack for $ 68.00, without the remote control. Now I have a chance, and I have only good things to say. Everyone plays blu ray except Batman Begins. I downloaded the firmware update from the website of manufacuturer and everything is in order. We have this as a gift for Christmas, and the children were very excited to bring it up and running. They finally got to see the Blu-ray movie they have last year at Christmas!

Positives:
Out of the box and connected in less than 5 minutes, there really is not bringing much of a way out of order (if the direction and plug-in cable to read!) What resolutions / etc, we just hung until they run into an "old fashioned" CRT TV – Flat panel could come next Christmas!
